Fall IN AZ

I LOVE Fall!! I have always been a big fan of Fall (I am a BIG Pumpkin gal), but after living in Phoenix for 2 years, I have an even greater appreciation for this season. You can really feel the turn of the season when mornings in October go from 90 degrees at 9am, to 50 degrees in a matter of a week's time. I realize that Phoenix in the Fall doesn't quite give you the chilly mornings with crisp fall leaves on the ground, but 50 degree mornings, walks to the local coffee shops, and a slight breeze is pretty magical after living with triple digits over the summer. With the Fall breeze, and holidays quickly approaching it helps remind us of an abundance of things we are thankful for!

FALL FAVORITES

Cooler temps mean it is finally acceptable to start baking (even though I got an early start in Sept), going to pumpkin patches, and hosting Fall dinner parties (I will take any excuse to host a dinner party)!

Here are a few of my favorite things to do in the Fall:

-Annual Fall trip to Trader Joe's-(my husband calls it my Annual Fall Pilgrimage) to buy all things Pumpkin! You have to try my favorite Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese! -Fall Movie Marathon-Harry Potter, You've Got Mail, Hocus Pocus, Practical Magic to name a few

-Home Decorating-Separate post to come about how I decorate my home for Fall

-Fall Baking -Pumpkin Bread, Pumpkin Muffins, Pumpkin Cookies (see where I am going with this)

-Soup Season-Time to breakout my favorite chicken noodle soup recipe from Joanna Gaines

-Carving Pumpkins-We tried these carvable foam pumpkins from Target this year!

-Visit a Pumpkin Patch-Loved visiting Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek this year! -Visiting your local Coffee Shop for a PSL!-We love William's Coffee Co in our neighborhood!
